Dead Pixel or Stuck Pixel? How to Check

Inspect a clean screen using black, white, red, green and blue full-screen colors. A consistently dark pixel differs from a pixel stuck on one color.

Before you begin

Start with reversible settings checks. Keep your device supported and powered safely. Do not force connectors, open sealed batteries or try high-voltage repair steps.

When to get professional help

If the same problem occurs in multiple compatible applications or devices after safe checks, follow the manufacturer's exact support instructions or ask a qualified repair professional. A browser test cannot prove every hardware component is healthy.
